The City of Faribault has declared a snow emergency effective at 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24. In order to facilitate safe and efficient snow removal from all City of Faribault streets, beginning at 1:00am on Tuesday, January 24, any vehicle left unattended on a city street in the downtown area before it has been cleared of snow from curb to curb may be ticketed and towed.
