The Library will be hosting War History Novelist, Michael Eckers for a program in the library's Great hall on Thursday, November 1st at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Eckers is a former Navy serviceman, retired postmaster, and author from Owatonna who has written several historical fiction and nonfiction books, presents talks on the American Civil War and the Dakota War of 1862, and participates in Civil War re-enactments. He has written Wisconsin Iron, Northern Colors, the Boys of Wasioja, Losing Your Zip, and Colors in the Air. Please join us for an interesting and informative evening as we welcome author Michael Eckers, who says, "History is something to look forward to!"
