Emergency Notification System


The Everbridge system provides city officials with the ability to provide pre-recorded emergency telephone notification/information messages to targeted areas or the entire city. Residents and businesses located within the city limits are encouraged to sign up for Everbridge to be sure they receive timely emergency notifications when alerts are issued.

Steve's Law


In Minnesota, we have a law called “Steve’s Law,” or the Good Samaritan law - passed in 2014 - that provides limited protections to people who call 911 and/or administer Narcan/naloxone in response to a suspected or known drug overdose. Take a few minutes to watch the below video.

Snow Emergency Information
According to Section 15-44 of the Faribault City Code it is illegal to park vehicles on any city street between the hours of 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. when a snow emergency has been declared and before the street has been plowed curb to curb, whichever occurs later.
 
No vehicle parking is allowed on Central Ave from 1st St. and 5th St. between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. year around.

Vehicles in violation of these regulations are subject to a citation and/or vehicles being towed.
