Welcome to the online resource for the Faribault (MN) Fire Department. We are a combination department with 9 full time and 24 part-time firefighters, along with the Fire Chief and an Administrative Assistant.
The personnel are divided into 3 shifts with 1 captain, 2 full-time firefighters and 10 part-time firefighters assigned to each shift.

The Faribault Fire Department operates out of 1 fire station. We protect our community of 23,352, an additional 4,422 in the surrounding townships and the numerous visitors to our area with the following equipment:
The Faribault Fire Department protects the city and 126 square miles in 3 and 1-half townships surrounding Faribault. The department provides:
- 2 engines
- 1 75-foot aerial ladder
- 1 heavy-rescue truck
- 1 rural tender
- 2 pick-up trucks
