Mobile Home Buyout Program

The Mobile Home Buyout Program is a voluntary program designed to purchase and remove substandard mobile home units from the following parks:  Evergreen Estates, Sunrise Mobile Home Park, Cannon River Mobile Home Park and Knollwood Courts Mobile Home City.

In this program, owners of dilapidated, substandard mobile homes may apply to the HRA to participate in the Buyout Program.  Upon completing an application form, an inspection will be conducted by Building Division staff.  If the unit is determined to be uninhabitable, dilapidated or otherwise substandard, the home is approved for participation in the program.  The HRA will buy the mobile home for a flat rate of $2,000, minus any outstanding property tax or lot rent payments. Upon assuming ownership of the home, the HRA then conducts the requires asbestos inspections and has the home properly demolished, removed and disposed of.   Click here for an application form.
