TRT Trailer #1 is a 10,000 pound dual axle trailer built by United Trailer. TRT #1 was purchased in 2003 and outfitted using funds from the City of Faribault and an AFG grant. The trailer is set up to respond to technical rescue situations such as trench, confined space, high level rope, and grain bin rescues. The following is a list of some of the items carried in the trailer:
Pneumatic air struts and air supply system
Confined space air and communication system
Ropes and repelling equipment
Grain bin rescue systems
Generators and on-scene lighting
Miscellaneous hand tools and rescue equipment
Full time members of the department have been trained to technician level in the use of all equipment.
