At the recommendation of Governor Tim Walz and the Minnesota Department of Health, Faribault Parks and Recreation facilities remain closed, and all programming is suspended until Governor Tim Walz announces the opening of Phase Three of his “Stay Safe MN” plan.

For a detailed look at this plan, visit the governor’s COVID-19 website, here.

The City facilities that remain closed include the Faribault Community Center, Faribault Family Aquatic Center and the Washington Recreation Center.

Please know that all city and state trails will remain open, and we’re encouraging people to use these amenities, while maintaining a safe, 6-foot distance from one another, which is being recommended by the MDH.
