The compost site located at 214 14th St NE will close for the season on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
The City of Faribault maintains a compost site at 214 NE 14th Street, behind the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Check signs for designated dumping areas. Weather permitting, the compost site opens in mid to late April and closes in November (actual opening and closing dates are weather dependent). Once open, seasonal hours of service are: Monday 1 p.m. - 7 p.m., Wednesday 1 p.m. - 7 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. It is closed on holidays.
