As progress continues at the Rice County Public Safety Center on the north end of town, the City of Faribault is hopeful a nearby parcel now on the market can be used to spur additional development.
In March, the Faribault City Council declared two parcels of land as surplus once the intersection improvement configurations were identified as part of the Hwy. 3 Roundabout Project. After successfully selling one parcel in October, and now that the roundabout project is complete, the City received a listing agreement from MDC Real Estate to market the remaining 3.88-acre parcel.
Currently zoned for light industrial, the property is located east of First Avenue NW, and south of East View Drive, both of which were extended as part of the Hwy. 3 Roundabout Project.
