  2. Birdwatching in Minnesota - virtual program

    March 31, 2021, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ Online - Zoom

Join the library on Zoom on Wednesday, March 31 at 4:30 p.m. for another presentation about bird watching in Minnesota, this time with a spring focus. In this virtual bird talk presented by Amy Simso Dean, you’ll learn how easy it is to get started or to get better at birdwatching (aka birding). You’ll also learn how to identify local birds, how to set up a bird feeding station, and you’ll hear about easy community science projects you can do that help support bird conservation - some as easy as just watching birds. Open to bird lovers of all ages, but registration is required in advance and space is limited. Email the library or call 507-334-2089 to reserve your spot no later than Tuesday, March 30. An email address is required so we can send you the Zoom meeting information.

  1. Storytime Share & Tell on Zoom

    March 31, 2021, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Online - ZOOM

**REGISTRATION REQUIRED! SPACE IS LIMITED!** This is an opportunity for regular and new storytime families to connect with Ms. Deni. We'll have time at the beginning to say hello and share about what's going on in our lives and then Ms. Deni will read a story or two and perhaps we'll even sing a song or do a rhyme. Storytime Share & Tell is intended for ages birth to 6 with an actively participating adult caregiver. You must register in advance. Space is limited to 10 participants. If there is a big enough demand, I will add a Thursday event. To receive the Zoom meeting invitation and log-in information, you must send an email Ms. Deni: with the name and age of your child/children. Please do this no later than 9am on the morning of the zoom storytime. I will not be posting the meeting link, ID, or password publicly in order to avoid "zoombombers."
