  2. Edible Books Festival March-April, 2023

    Buckham Memorial Library is announcing its 7th Annual Edible Books Festival. Entry Forms and Rules may be picked up at the library beginning March 1st and are due back to the library on March 29. All photographed entries are due to be emailed by March 31, to amccolley@ci.faribault.mn.us. Photos of the entries will be posted the week of April 10. Entries must consist of edible materials and portray or represent books or book related themes or characters. More details provided on Facebook and the Rules sheet. Call after March 1 for more information if needed.

    Join us in the library's Great Hall during spring break and enjoy hands-on activities while learning more about the great state of Minnesota! Pat Bauer (author) and Dave Geister (illustrator) will share Making Minnesota, an activity book recently published by the Minnesota Historical Society. The book will be available for free (while supplies last) at this family event, thanks to generous funding from the Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment. No registration required.
