    Join us in the library's Great Hall (2nd floor) to hear Dr. Artika Tyner speak about her journey towards justice. Dr. Tyner will share about her writing journey, introduce 3-4 books from her collection that focus on history, leadership and social change, and will teach writing prompts throughout. Dr. Artika Tyner is a passionate educator, author, speaker, and advocate for justice. A law professor at the University of St. Thomas, she holds a Doctorate in Leadership and has presented her research and leadership training nationally and internationally. She is deeply committed to empowering others. Content Bookstore will be on hand at the event to sell copies of some of Bao's books. Books brought from home or purchased at the event can be signed by the author at the event. This event is free and open to the public and an ASL interpreter has been confirmed for this event. Part of the SELCO 2023 Minnesota Author Tour.
